Coronavirus: An Update for Volunteers

Successfully sending volunteers abroad for 10 years

Following on from our most recent update surrounding the ongoing global Coronavirus pandemic, the team at Agape have decided to take the following steps to ensure the health and safety of everyone concerned with the charity.

Please take the time to read our approach and contact us if you have any questions or concerns.

Measures in place to help volunteers in-country:

·     Helping with arrangements to get people home

·     Continuing to support anyone who is staying abroad

·     Additional health and safety measures at all accommodation and advising against using public transport

·     Suspension of most placements, especially Kenya

Suspension of new arrivals until at least 17th April

·     FCO has now advised against all non-essential foreign travel

If you are planning to volunteer in Africa or if you would like to share more information on the Coronavirus and the steps you can take protect yourself from infection, you can follow the link here.

We thank you all for your patience and understanding during these difficult times.
