Successfully sending volunteers abroad for 10 years
It's been a great year here at Agape HQ.
We’ve continued to enable volunteers to donate their time and energy to making a real difference to grassroots projects in Kenya, Ghana, South Africa and Tanzania. We’ve been able to offer financial support to long-term projects helping communities in these countries. We've enabled volunteers to embark on adventures they never thought they would (climbing Mount Kilimanjaro!). And we’ve had some lovely feedback from volunteers who have had the times of their lives…
“I have very recently come back from a month in Kenya. I volunteered at the 'Dadas' School and orphanage there. It was a truly amazing, challenging and life changing experience for me and I am hoping to go back before the end of the year!” - Rachel

Looking to 2018, we’re incredibly excited to have re-branded! We’re the same people but with a beautiful shiny new look. Like James Bond. Or Doctor Who, post-regeneration.
We’re also looking forward to introducing a new medical programme in Tanzania. Volunteers will have the chance to work at Tengeru hospital which has a strong maternity ward. Around 500 newborns are delivered each month. So if you’re studying midwifery, thinking about studying it, or just in awe at the miracle of birth, this is for you! Details will be on our website soon.
