If you've been on a volunteering trip with Agape in the past, you will probably know the feeling that many of our volunteers tell us they get after returning home - something we call the 'post-volunteering blues'. Almost every one of our past volunteers has left Africa vowing to return - and as soon as possible - having loved their experience so much.
Does this sound like you? Well, now's your chance!
In a bid to both spread the word about the amazing work volunteers can do with us in Africa, and to help previous volunteers to realise this dream of returning to the community they came to love, we've just launched a new competition!
All you have to do is leave a brief review of your volunteering trip with Agape on our new survey, and you could be in with the chance of winning some great prizes... including a discounted return trip to your old project.
Being able to return to your former volunteering placement gives a great opportunity to catch up with friends you made during your stay, and to see just how much of an impact your work has made. But it will also continue the support you gave to the community in the first place, allowing you to create long-term charitable relationships, building on your previous work.
This is a vital part of what we aspire to achieve with our sustainable voluntourism here at Agape - creating holistic and long-term solutions to the challenges we tackle.
So, if you fancy winning some awesome Agape stash to show off your support, and maybe even a 10% discount off a volunteering programme in Africa, stop what you're doing and ENTER HERE NOW!
This exciting competition is open until the end of June, so get giving your feedback now!
At the beginning of July, we will go through the entries, check that everyone who has submitted feedback is on our books, and then choose a winner at random. There will be three winners - two runners-up will win Agape merchandise, and the grand prize winner will also score an exclusive discounted trip!
Good luck, and we hope to see you in Africa again soon!
In the meantime, why not keep exploring everything Agape has to offer?Return to Site
